Details:	THE BUDGERIGAR SOCIETY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 2014 The Budgerigar Society will be holding their Show of Shows on the weekend of 15th and 16th November 2014 at their usual venue of The Dome, Doncaster Lakeside, Bawtry Road, Doncaster. DN4 7PD. Schedules have been sent to all society members with the September issue of The Budgerigar with the closing date for entries is set for 4th November. The show will open to the public from 2.30pm – 6.30pm on Saturday and 9.00 – 3.30pm on Sunday with judging commencing at 9.45am on Saturday. Admission to the show is £6 on Saturday and £7 on Sunday with the catalogue at £4 (£6 by post). eminars While judging is in progress the society will run their usual, well attended, seminar commencing at 9.45am on Saturday. The guest speaker on this occasion is Gerd Bleicher. Gerd is a very long established and well known fancier from Germany who is also an Honorary Life Member of our society as well as being the chairman of the WBO and his national budgerigar society the DSV. Gerd will give two presentations entitled “Budgerigar varieties and how they influence each other” and “Travelling in the World of Budgerigars”. Sunday morning there will be a seminar specially catering for the benefits of the junior/beginner/novice commencing at 11.00am and the guest speaker invited is Alan Marchant of the well known & successful partnership of Huxley & Marchant.
