Once upon a time, Martin took time out from his job as a stop/go man and took himself to a recording studio to record a couple of tunes he had floating around in his head, (which apart from those couple of tunes, was completely empty). The bearded face in the hedge owner, of the studio, Mick, pointed Martin towards Sean. He was another bearded heathen of a thug, from true rock n roll stock. Never would he be caught more than a few feet away from his medication 20 JPS and a 4 pack of Brewsters. This was Stafford Galli in the making. The rest of the band was formed from a few friends that Sean and Martin knew from other bands.
It is now 20 years on and people have come and gone but the Galli sound has stayed the same.
Come and join us in helping this excellent band celebrate their 20 years of entertaining us with their blend of Irish/folk/rock.
