The White Swan, in Doncaster, South Yorkshire
THE WHITE SWANOne of Doncaster's oldest taverns, dating back to the 18th century. Formerly an Ale house sitting on what was once the Great North Road, or the A1, which is now a busy shopping precinct in the town centre.

AWARDSUntil 2004, it held claim to having the highest bar in the uk at just over 6', and today still reputedly has the deepest cellar in the town - perfect for keeping your beer just right!
