Miner's Memorial Chapel, in Doncaster, South Yorkshire
MINER'S MEMORIAL CHAPELDenaby All Saints Church incorporates a small memorial chapel which is dedicated to the miners and coal mining heritage of the area.
It was established in 1989 and incorporates many items from nearby mines. The walls firebricks from Cadeby Pit and inside the tower the bricks are from Manvers, Kilnhurst, Rossington and Hickleton Pits.Don't MissDon't Miss, the 9 ton wheel - it was the last working one used at nearby Cadeby Colliery when it closed.
