ST JOHN THE BAPTIST'S MEXBOROUGH

This is Mexborough's parish church and documents show there's been a church here since at least the Domesday Book of 1086.

Did You Know...

Did you know that when the church was restored in the 1890's, the plaster and whitewash were removed on the north aisle to reveal a stunning Creed, Lord's Prayer and the Ten Commandments.
