TED HUGHES LIVED HERE

This is where former Poet Laureate Ted Hughes lived from the age of 7 until he won a scholarship at Cambridge aged 17.

A plaque adorns the house since it was put up in April 2013, 15 years after his death. Artist Ashley Jackson, said: "I think it is long overdue that he is honoured with this plaque. He is one of the greatest poets this country has ever produced."
