Sandall Park, in Doncaster, South Yorkshire

SANDALL PARK

Sandall Park covers an area of 20.7 hectares and is an area of local beauty. Weekends and school holidays during the summer will bring many families into the park to enjoy the tranquillity and observe the wildlife.

The ducks and geese are regular benefactors with youngsters bringing their bread and cakes to feed to them.

For those more interested in expending energy, the well stocked playgrounds are too good to resist, while older members of the family can picnic nearby. Dog walking is a favourite past time and whilst the pets enjoy a good run around, they are asked to be kept on a lead to protect the wildlife.

Street Map

  • You can zoom in and out using the controls on the left side of the map.
  • The map can move around by dragging with the mouse.
  • As this is powered by google maps which is still in beta it may lock from time to time. If this occurs please use your browsers refresh button to reload the map.

Facilities

The toilets are opened in the morning by the park wardens doing their rounds, and closed during the afternoon when the wardens do their final rounds. Times will vary according to their workload.

A childrens play area is situated on the Barnby Dun Road side of the park and is well maintained by the council.

OPENING TIMES

The cafe is open 7 days a week from early morning to late afternoon, and serves breakfast and lunches. A Sunday dinner can be enjoyed on, you guessed it! Sunday, with a special rate for children and OAPs.
