The old Parkinson's Shop, in Doncaster, South Yorkshire
THE OLD PARKINSON'S SHOPThis distinctive bow windowed Georgian building on the High Street was since 1817 was occupied by Parkinson's, the famous local Butterscotch manufacturer. They are long gone and since 1960 has had many different occupiers including coffee shops, book shop, fashion store. It was saved from demolition by the efforts of Doncaster Civic Trust, and restored in 1976. It is a Grade 2 Listed building.Street Map
