RED LION COACHING INN

Mentioned in the Doomsday book the Red Lion in Epworth has kept many of its original features and has a charming period interior that complements its character as a traditional English country Inn.

The Red Lion is also the place that John Wesley often stayed on his own visits to the town later in his life.

Don't Miss ... the Tartan Room where a portrait hangs of John Wesley, which was plucked from the fire in The Rectory in February 1709.
