ST PETER-IN-CHAINS

In the medieval period the Shrine of Our Lady of Doncaster was one of the most famous Marion Shrines in England and was the most important Shrine dedicated to Our Lady of Doncaster. It was destroyed in 1538, but a stunning replacement was unveiled here in 1868.
