Conisbrough St Peter, in Doncaster, South Yorkshire
CONISBROUGH ST PETERThis is the oldest building in South Yorkshire - an 8th century Saxon church dating from 740-750AD. From 1100 the church was regularly extended.
Don't MissDon't miss the hagioscope and lychnoscope, a medieval altar slab and two 13th century stained glass windows.
