from : As a child i used to visit regular with my nana and grandad, we used to take a picnic and we would spend the whole day there.I enjoyed the stories that my nana and grandad used to tell me about there younger days.cusworth hall always intrigued me.I have so many happy memories of the times i spent there with two very special people.unfortunatly my nana and grandad have both pasted away now but to be able to come to come back to cusworth hall brings back happy memories.
Martin Cross from Sprotbrough: My aunt was head cook for the last owner and spent many many years living in the gate house, The water came from the pump, later on from an outside tap and finally a cold supply was provided into the premises. The toilet was chemical and the cold store was underground at the side of the house. My brother and I used to stay over and one of us would sleep in the little top room over the arch. It was our job to open and close the gates in the morning and at night when we stayed. There used to be Christmas parties for the staff and their families in the house.
luke allison from cusworth: my favourite memory was when i feel out of the biggest tree at the bottom of the hill

charlotte from doncaster: its a great place to visit and it good to take your bikes aswell or for just a pic nic
Sarah-Kay from Toowoomba, Australia: I used to live not far from "Cussie" me and my friends would grab some chips with curry sauce and a Dandylion & Burdock and go up and sit on the steps of the hall, listening to the roar of the A1 and watching the lights over Donny. That is until the "robocop" would bellow out that we were being monitored by the surveillence cameras and to avoid the police we would have to leave the area immediately!!

I loved that place - even got to clean the windows of the coffee rooms for some extra cash.
