Charlie Williams MBE
Doncaster's groundbreaking comedian who was a regular stand-up on 70's comedy TV show, first shone in the number 5 shirt for Doncaster Rovers in 1955. A tough centre back he stayed with Rovers for 5 years before moving into showbiz.
