Event:	Spring Gala Concert
Details:	Doncaster Choral Society Spring Gala Concert, Saturday May 16th at 7.30 p.m. Almost 100 singers will be on stage for Doncaster Choral Society’s first performance at Cast The auditorium will rock to the thrills of Carl Orff’s dramatic and emotionally charged tour de force Carmina Burana; accompanied by four principal percussionists from the National Festival Orchestra and pianist Jonathan Gooing. Doncaster Minster Choristers join in the fun singing the roasted swan’s solo, directed by Darren Williams. Leonard Bernstein’s jazzy Chichester Psalms and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue are also featured. Dr Simon Lindley conducts with vocalists Debra Morley and Phil Willcox leading the line-up.
