Hi everyone,

We've a new section on donny online now in beta for local history, the first new addition of which is an interactive timeline of major events in Doncaster's history. Check it out here: http://http://www.donny.co.uk/Doncaster/history/timeline.php

We have about 200 events listed but are any key moments missing?

All (serious) suggestions welcome!

Ade

Does anyone get an error on viewing the timeline page?

Both narrow and wide timelines work for me.

No problems here.

Thanks everyone - that's great. I've added a few more more recent entries as well.

Vincent - do you know what internet browser you have, and which version?

Cheers

I took a look at your site and recommend it to my visitors. I agree with you on the importance of becoming valuable in many different areas. I believe that it sustains any entrepreneur during challenges that inevitably occur.

Just been checking the timeline again Ade, its a bit misleading.

When you visit the web page and see the picture saying.
Quote
INTERACTIVE DONCASTER HISTORY TIMELINE!
Check out our new interactive timeline of Doncaster history

It implies it will take you to the timeline but only leaves you with a list of events.  The only way to get to the timeline is to go to the left side menu bar and select  'Local History' and then select 'Timeline'

Not too bad for those with some insight but strangers would get confused or give up frustrated.
