Saxon
Graham Oliver, Saxon's guitarist, started out in the South Yorkshire mining town of Mexborough, taking in gigs by Steve Winwood and Spencer Davies before being blown away by the master himself - Jimi Hendrix. "I was so young, it went right over my head, but I remembered the imagery." Teaching himself to play on a Rosetti SG3, Oliver was part of the nascent Saxon.

Acclaimed rock group founded by 3 Doncaster chaps. Kerrang! have just said they've done the best British rock record of the year.

Honky
Honky are a hip duo formed when Kye met Matt the guitarist and music provider four years ago in a Doncaster club. Things moved quickly for them since signing to ZTT, they released their debut single Honky Doodle Day towards the end of 1993 and came out with their second single titled "The whistler".
