Rovers manager Ian Snodin is confident that Rovers will win tonight even though his squad is
hit by injuries and suspensions.
Lee Warren (knee) and Matt Cauldwell (hamstring) are ruled out after
picking up injuries on Saturday. Martin Foster is ruled out with a rib
injury sustained in training and Mike Newell and Dave Penney are
suspended. Better news for Snodin is that both strikers Ian Duerden and
Dino Maamria are available.
Player manager Snodin has also added himself to the 16 man squad that includes Jamie Price and
Dennis Kindel from the youth team. Snodin is unlikely to start the match, but he will not finalise his side
until checking on the pitch.
He planned to meet the team at the hotel
where they have booked in for a pre-match meal.
Snodin joined chairman John Ryan this afternoon in talks with the striker
from the Unibond League Division One club they have been chasing in recent
weeks. 'The two clubs have agreed a fee it is just up to us to agree terms
with the player. I would imagine that if he does sign he will travel down
to the game in the Chairman's car' said Snodin.
