Referee: S. Habgood (Swindon).

Goals:

5 mins: Atkins played a long ball out of defence which eluded Boston
defender Ross Weatherstone and WHITMAN ran on to take the ball past Bastock
and slot home.

36 mins: A corner from the Boston right was not cleared and the ball fell to
Simon WEATHERSTONE whose initial shot was blocked, but the ball came back to
him and he fired a low shot past Richardson.

48 mins: From Caudwells corner Ryan outjumped the defence but his header
was blocked on the line. The ball dropped kindly to ATKINS who prodded in
from close range.

55 mins: Charlery was impeded by Miller inside the area as both tried to
reach a deep cross from the right. CHARLERY took the penalty and sent
Richardson the wrong way.

89 mins: From a corner by substitute Paterson, Millers powerful header was
blocked on the line. Rovers players claimed handball and although the
referee rejected the claim his assistant indicated a penalty. PATERSON
stepped up and beat Bastock with a low drive.

90 mins: Deep into injury time, with Boston pressing for a third equaliser,
Kellys ball out of defence found Paterson on the left. He fed Turner who
then got the ball back to PATERSON. The Scots low shot from the edge of the
box beat Bastock and lodged in the bottom corner of the net.
